With hashtags like #baebelike and #baegoalsaf one can only assume REAL relationship goals should not be determined by the majority of what social media users deem as acceptable behavior in a relationship. Real relationship goals should come from your own experiences, your personality, your expectations, and the same should go for the other person you are in a relationship with. It's okay to admire the relationship of someone else you follow on Social Media however, there's always a story behind every pretty, painted picture. What may seem like the perfect relationship may not always be the case when we take a 20 min break from our Insta-lives. Every 'perfect' relationship on our timeline may have taken years of work for the two individuals to be completely happy with their lives and their relationship. Bae goals should not matter if it's not your story being told or reposted online. Bae goals should not become aspiring standards to follow, real relationship goals come from what you are willing to accept and expect out of a relationship.
