Last night, I attended the Optimum Hair Care by Soft Sheen Carson event hosted by CurlyNikki and Tracee Ellis Ross at 404 NYC venue. The event was one not to be missed! Tons of NYC curlies showed up in full effect. The hair and fashion was on point. Big hair, bold lip colors, sky-high-heels, stunning outfits, and NYC swag to match! Optimum was launching their new product called 6-N-1 Miracle Oil. Tracee and CurlyNikki were more GORGEOUS in person than I imagined.
The venue was packed to capacity. I'm sorry I did not carry my digital camera. I thought my iPhone pictures would have been sufficient enough. Sadly, I thought wrong however, I did get great video footage. The Dee Jay played a great selection of music. Everything from Beyonce, to Weezy, to CB. The vibe was great! Tracee has a great personality. She's bubbly and down-to-earth. CurlyNikki (my hair idol) was sweet, humble, and too cute with her southern accent. She was serving up some sexy hair that night. Tracee's hair was on point as well. She brought it back old school with a big Diana Ross curly fro. I bet Ms. Ross would have been proud of her daughter. In all, there was a wonderful array of appetizers, drinks, great music, and lots of luscious hair! I would spare you all the horrible grainy images I collected.
