I have been MIA for some time now however, when time permits I love to blog! Blogging has been on of my favorite hobbies. I would like to turn my writing skills into an actual prospective career. I do have some ideas in the works that may develop over the course of this year. Nonetheless, I am here to share my top favorite natural hair products. I have been rocking my natural hair for 1 year and 4 months. It has been a blast to see the amazing growth and length my hair retained thus far.
My curl pattern is the best part of the journey. I have a mixture of 4a/3c, corkscrew/fractal or coily/tight curls. I will add more pictures later on to this post or another one. I'm not sure how long my hair is but it is between collarbone, neck, and shoulder length depending on the section of my hair that is being analyzed. I do not use heat or styling tools on my hair. I follow a strict Curly Girl (aka CG) routine. I mostly use products made with natural or organic ingredients. I have listed below the products I found to work best for my low porosity, fine, and dense curls.
Shampoo/Cleansing Agents: (Used every every 2-3 months or as needed).
- Kinky Curly Come Clean
- Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Shampoo
- Apple Cider Vinegar
Cowashes: (Done on a weekly basis or as needed throughout the week).

- Karen's Body Beautiful Delicate 'Do No Poo Lather Free Hair Wash
Deep Conditioner:
- Curl Junkie's Curl Rehab (Strawberry Scent)
- Koils by Nature Ultra-Moisturizing CocoAloe Deep Conditioner (will review)
Leave-in Conditioner:

Styling Products:
- Camille Rose Naturals Curl Love Moisture Milk (also used as a leave-in) (check out my older posts for this review)
- Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter (for wash and gos and twisting purposes)
- Shea Moisture Curling Souffle Gel (I use this gel to twist for my mini-twists)
Oils:
- Karen's Body Beautiful Heavenly Jojoba Oil (Vanilla Latte Scent)
- Organic Argan oil (Now Foods or Aura Cacia brand)
I also want to share, that it took me a long time to find products that work best for my hair. I hope this list helps someone out there in need of finding great products to take care of their highly-textured hair. All products mentioned were purchased with my own money and used on a trial and error basis. Luckily, I found the most success in the products mentioned. The Camille Rose Curl Love Moisture Milk was the first product I used on my short TWA hair. I recently fell back in love with it. It is the only moisturizer thus far that gives my curls long-lasting hydration. Argan oil helps cut down on the frizz, tames flyways, and improves the overall look and feel of my curls. I hope this helps!
