Hair Therapy: Curl Junkie's Curl Rehab Review

A couple of weeks ago, my hair was in great need of moisture. My current deep conditioner was no longer living up to my hair's expectations. I am currently 8 months post relaxer, with hair that is half natural/half relaxed. The ends of my hair were dry and resembled a stack of hay. It was that serious. I did a lot of research two weeks ago on the most "raved" deep conditioner, that curly girls liked. That's when I came across Curl Junkie's Curl Rehab Moisturizing Hair Treatment. I ordered this product two weeks ago and the delivery time was quite impressive! I received my 8 oz jar within 2-3 days. I brought the conditioner in the strawberry ice-cream scent because it was the most popular and raved scent consumers purchased. When I applied this deep conditioner to my hair, it changed everything, literally! My hair felt extremely soft and supple.

This is the first time in a long time, I used a deep conditioner that actually penetrates hair. The product did not sit on top of my hair, if you know what I mean. My hair was soft after I allowed it to air dry and the scent lasted all day. I also use this product as a leave in treatment/styler for my hair. I use less than a dime-size amount to moisturize my hair before styling. Today, I used the Curl Rehab to co-wash my hair with. I received the same results with this product on clean hair as the previous two times, I used it to deep condition with. I also want to note that Curl Rehab is Curly Girl (CG) friendly, for those of you who follow the method. I like to deep condition with this anywhere between 15 minutes to 1 hour without heat. I purchased my jar of Curl Rehab from Curl Junkie's website. I paid $20 for an 8 oz jar. This product will be a staple and a holy grail product for me until I feel I need a new deep conditioner in my regimen.
