Many of us do not think twice when it comes to wearing denim. There are many different washes of denim to choose from. Wearing denim on denim, may be something we do subconsciously, however, we may not be doing it correctly. 

Choosing different washes of denim can make or break your outfit. It’s very hard to get away with two or more pieces of denim of similar washes. Create a contrast between the two materials. Pick a wash of denim that is a couple shades lighter or darker than the other.
