Karen's Body Beautiful Review: July 2012

I'm doing another hair product review on Karen's Body Beautiful products. It was months ago since I did my first review. The products I will be reviewing are: the Luscious Locks Hair Mask, Sweet Ambrosia, and the Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream.

Luscious Locks Hair Mask: This mask makes my hair so SOFT! I would consider this mask a deep conditioner. I deep condition with this once a week with or without heat for 15 minutes to 1 hour. This conditioner is unscented, which is fine with me. This was the only conditioner out of many I tired, while I began transitioning, that made my hair feel like silk. I recently started using this conditioner in the late winter of this year. I'm on my second jar of conditioner. This conditioner gives my hair a lot of slip and works out any tangles, I may have.

Sweet Ambrosia: Sweet Ambrosia is a medium consistency hair milk. Every time I buy this from KBB, I always order the Vanilla Latte scent. It has a heavenly scent. The smell reminds me of Starbuck's vanilla latte hot/cold latte's. I use this as my primary leave in conditioner, on either wet or dry hair. I also use this product to style my buns and braid/twist outs. I've been rocking out with this product since 2010. It's always been one of my staples, even when I was getting my regular relaxers. It still works great at keeping my transitioning hair soft and supple. You can use this product on any hair type in my opinion. This product is OUTSTANDING!!! Enough said.

Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream: This is a new product to the KBB line. I purchased this, the same week it was introduced to the website. This product is like a hair butter/thick consistency cream, mixed into one. The texture is very rich and creamy. I was on the fence about this product. It was too thick for my hair, and made it feel greasy. However, I learned that this product works best in small portions. When I used this product, I was still fairly new to transitioning. Now, I am approaching 5 months post relaxer, and I use this product to seal the ends of my hair. This product also works wonders on my scalp. I ordered this product in the Vanilla latte scent. I would recommend this product if you are past 3 months in transitioning. Now that, my new growth is over 2 inches long, this products works better for me.

All products mentioned, were purchased with my own money. I also used these products over an extended period of time. In edition to, these products, were not purchased at the same time. Karen, the owner of Karen's Body Beautiful gives a lot of product! The lid and container are filled to the brim. The consistency of the Super Duper Hair Cream is very thick, creamy, and rich.
