Skin Care Review: Eminence Organics Stone Crop Hydrating Mist

I've been using Eminence Organics skin care products for the past year, which has totally saved the health and integrity of my skin. Regular facials for me are a MUST, since I have combination/dehydrated skin. I go to HeyDay Skin Care, which has several locations, in popular cities around the United States.

My Esthetician, usually sprays the Eminence Organics Stone Crop Hydrating Mist, after applying performing several different treatments. The Stone Crop Hydrating Mist, can be used as a toner or mist during the day. Stone Crop is a succulent healing plant used to treat different skin care issues, such as hydration, hyperpigmentation, lightening complexion, firming, toning skin, etc. After my my facial my skin just glows after this product is applied and soaks in. I'm left with soft glowing skin each time.

I picked this up this week, to include in my home care routine. I use it morning and at night, before applying moisturize. What I love is the scent and the product not being sticky or tacky. I wish I had a second bottle to keep in my purse! This product has completely reduced my skin's ability to overproduce oil and has balanced it's production. This will definitely be a staple in my routine, I will be picking up another bottle when I can to keep in my bag for all seasons.

You can only purchase Eminence Organics products from spas authorized to sell their products. Honestly, prices vary and usually are concordant with what's on their website. HeyDay sells a small collection of  Eminence products, and I am a member there, so I receive 10% off on skin care products. Sometimes, I buy online at EMStore, Dermstore, or from local spas.

Exfoliate + Moisturize

It's Summer, and we finally made it to sunshine, longer days, iced lattes, and cool beach attire. Having great skin not only starts within, but how we treat our skin on the outside, as well. Our skin needs exfoliation at least 2-3 times a week, to remove dead skin cells, and to prevent ingrown hairs, and bumps from razors or waxing.

I learned this tip from an aesthetician at Sugaring NYC, during one of my monthly sugaring sessions. I use Sugaring NYC's brand of body scrubs, in Coconut Vanilla however, you can make your own scrub or purchase any brand you want. Exfoliating really helps when I'm in between waxing, because it keeps my skin smooth, and less dry with new hairs growing in. You can use your hands to exfoliate or apply the scrub to a loofah or wash cloth. This process only takes about an extra 5 minutes in the shower and it's totally worth it!

The lotion I like to use after the shower is by Eminence Organics, and it's the Coconut Firming Body Lotion. Hands down, this is best lotion I have used in my entire life. It contains a natural alternative to Retinol. Areas on my body, where I've had stretch marks firmer, and the skin is tighter. Rumor has it, Meghan Markle uses a Firming lotion by Nivea, and swears by it. I like this lotion because it keeps my skin soft and supple, without leaving behind a greasy feeling. One bottle lasts me the entire month, for the exception of the winter months, where I would apply a thicker application.

Don't forget to apply SPF, in addition to your morning beauty treatments and rituals! Have an awesome and great summer!

Skin Care Routine + Hormonal Ance

My Favorite Skin Care Products
When you think of skin care, may people associate the term with having or wanting clear, blemish-free, baby soft skin. Let's be honest most men and women, are always on a never-ending quest for achieving glowing, dewy, and pimple-free skin. There's an abundance of products and topical and dietary routines out there that promise to offer healthier skin to it's consumers. I never thought, I would say aloud and in public, that I am a product and suffer of hormonal acne. I have been battling hormonal acne since 2017, and that year was a pivotally stressful time in my life. It all started with Shea Moisture discontinuing my favorite facial mask, then stress happened, and my pimples became more than a monthly sequence. I remember during the Fall of last year, I broke out around Thanksgiving, with aggressive acne, that just seemed to get worse and rebelled against my previous skincare routine. It wasn't until I had a professional facial at Wink Brow Bar, that I began to realize,  I wasn't caring for my skin properly.

Let's be honest facials are expensive, and I still haven't had another one since January of this year. After my facial, I love the results so much, but didn't care price tag, and I was determined to know what type of products were used in spas. After several Google searches, and googling the scent one of the masks the aesthetician used on my face, I stumbled upon Eminence Organics skincare products. read review after review on their website, and I love what the brand represented. Eminence Organics is a skincare company created in Germany. All of the products are made with premium natural and organic ingredients. Many spas around the world Eminence products and they are only sold by professional spas or authorized sellers.

The products I absolutely fell in love with and that has my heart, is the Clear Skin Probiotic line.  I have been using this line for about 8 months now, and it has helped keep my acne in check, and my routine simple. Some of the keynote ingredients in the products are Willow Bark, Yogurt, and Cucumbers. Today, I'm sharing my favorite Eminence products along with a few other products to aid in my skincare routine.

Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser: This cleanser is very gentle and has a soft lather, when applied with a brush (I use a pink Eco Tools one that's non-electric). It gets my face clean without stripping away my natural oils or drying out my face. It has a nice clean scent and has a cooling effect when applied to the face. Some keynote ingredients are Sweet Almond Oil, and Tea Tree Oil

Clear Skin Probiotic Masque: This mask is hands down the best I've ever used! This mask is so moisturizing, while deeply penetrating your pores, with a nice cooling effect to skin that is dry or irritated. Very gentle as well for sensitive skin and awesome for acne-prone skin types. I use this mask daily as a spot treatment, or as a full mask 2-3 times out of the week. Keynote ingredients are Yogurt, Stone Crop, Calendula Oil.

Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer: Since I've developed oily skin over the past 2 years, applying oils directly to my face as a moisturizer is a no-go for me. This moisturizer melts into my skin and penetrates it deeply. It gives me a nice matte finish without the excessive shine. If I do get oily throughout the day, it's a nice healthy glow, and depending on the oil production there's very little to blot. Like all the other products in this line, this moisturizer has a cooling effect to it and it's very light but packs a punch. I use this day and night after using the cleanser and mask. Keynote ingredients are pretty much identical to the mask and cleanser.

Coconut Firming Body Lotion: I never met a lotion this divine in my life and it smells heavenly! I've been exclusively using this lotion since January and my skin is so firm and tight. If you have fresh stretch marks or stretched skin, this will reduce marks and snap your skin back into shape. This lotion is a must-have for anyone 30 and older. The keynote ingredients in this lotion are Green Apple Stem Cells, a natural grade of Retinol, and Shea Butter. I can't imagine myself without this lotion. I keep a bottle of this stuff in my purse, on the go.

Evian Water Spray: Evian water is naturally PH balanced, which is around 7.2. I like to spray this water on my cleansing brush and to wash my face with. I use regular tap water to rinse my cleanser off. If I was travelling, I would use this to wash and rise my face with. The masks from Eminence Organics, should be emulsified with water. When I scoop my mask out with the little spatula that comes with each mask, I spray the Evian water on the product. This just makes things easier for my routine.

Briogeo B. Well Castor Oil: I recently just started using this brand of Castor Oil 2 weeks ago, to aid with eyebrow growth. Briogeo is a hair care brand, that focuses on the health of hair, along with using clean ingredients for your hair and skin. I like to apply this castor oil to my eyebrows with either a Q-tip or disposable eyebrow spoolie, primarily at night before bed. Sometimes I will apply a tiny amount on my finger and swipe gently to condition my brows throughout the day. This castor oil is organic, fair trade, and cruelty-free!

These are my favorite skincare products to date, and I use them on a daily basis, twice a day. I love the probiotic line from Eminence Organics and applying probiotics topically, to the skin, can help reduce the cause of acne, while healing old acne bumps, and scares. I also orally take 1 probiotic supplements by the Garden of Life, once a day, to aid with happy gut health. I like to drink at least 2 liters of alkaline water daily, eating clean home-cooked meals, and green smoothies. Reducing my dairy and processed sugar intake has greatly helped as well. Diet and keeping a skin care journal can be beneficial to monitor daily/weekly changes in your skin. However, do not become obsessive! It takes time and patience. Finding a regimen that works best for YOU is always important!
