Hi Dolls!

Today's post will not be a cocky one, but rather uplifting, for anyone who has gone through the whole ordeal of having haters "hate" on them. First, let's define the word hate:

The word hater is define as a "person who greatly dislikes a specified person or thing" according to the Oxford Dictionary (Oxford Dictionary, 2015). How do you deal with someone or persons who generally do not LIKE you? Keep reading to find out my top 10 reasons to ditch a hater.

  1. The first reason why you should ditch a hater, is because you may have some traits or attributes they dislike or secretly wish they had.
  2. Haters do not have your best interests at heart, i.e.. they do not wish to see you succeed.
  3. Haters are impossible to win over, sometimes everyone is not meant to like us, no matter how hard we try.
  4. Haters are sometimes downright petty or insecure about their own selves. Some people will hate on you to the point where it may come across as bullying to mask their own feelings.
  5. Haters are willing to hate on you because of what you may physically have i.e. a nice house, car, bag, job, etc.
  6. Haters will sometimes try to portray you as the worst person on Earth. This type of hater may never have anything nice to say about you or what you are capable of doing.
  7. Haters will try to hold you back from achieving your dreams/goals. This type of hater can come in several forms. Sometimes you may need to cut all ties with this person or avoid them at all causes.
  8. Haters can have the ability to eat away at your holistic well-being and minimize your self esteem. You always want to think highly of yourself. If you start believing in what others have to say, you will slowly start to have disbelief in yourself.
  9. Haters are simply not worth your time. Stop worrying about who doesn't like you, and care about those who do!
  10. Haters are usually never happy or satisfied with themselves. If they spent less time hating and more time loving themselves, they wouldn't have the need to hurt the feels of others.
In all reality, we cannot stop people from not being swoon over us however, no one needs to entertain a doubting Thomas. If haters exist at school or work, it may not be that easy to just "ignore" them. Sometimes we need to play nice and get along with others. I believe that everyone deserves a level of respect however, never let someone disrespect you because they may have a dislike or something against you. Move forward and live your life how you want to live it, hater-free!
